Atomicwork is an early-stage startup looking to disrupt the world of employee experience. Our team is building a modern service management platform to facilitate collaboration between employees and internal teams like IT, HR, and Finance.

We’re looking for an experienced web developer to join our team and help us reimagine our website and digital web experiences. This is a hybrid position based out of our Bengaluru office. We offer competitive pay to employees and practical benefits for their whole family.

What we’re looking for (qualifications)

We are not big on formal qualifications, and we value hands-on skills. We also enjoy working with people who are looking to learn new things and have a sense of responsibility toward their work.

  • You have at least three years of experience developing websites with Webflow or similar low-code or no-code web development platforms.

  • You can develop both static and dynamic (CMS) websites using Webflow and create layouts that marketers can customize extensively without coding skills.

  • You have experience working with design tools like Figma (especially with Figma's dev tools) and can leverage it to improve your development process.

  • You understand web design well and can act like a designer to create variations of pages, sections, and components based on existing guidelines.

  • You have completed at least five major website projects as a freelancer, at an agency, or as a part of a web team at a business.

  • You have a good understanding of Responsive Web Design (RWD) and WCAG guidelines and can develop complex websites that are both responsive and accessible.

  • You have strong HTML and CSS skills and a good understanding of JavaScript and jQuery.

  • You can create custom interactions and animations independently.

  • You can use apps to extend native Webflow functionalities.

  • You have good knowledge of Webflow libraries (like Memberstack or Finsweet) and can use them to fast-track development and delivery.

  • You have experience working with A/B testing frameworks on Webflow and can help us iterate and improve our website in a data-driven manner.

  • You understand the need for low-code and no-code development and can train internal teams to use Webflow (or similar tools) to minimize dependencies

  • You are comfortable working with a distributed team without meeting them in person.

  • You have taken the time to read and understand our cultural values.

  • You can collaborate with your teammates without acting like a jerk.

What you'll do (responsibilities)

  • Build and launch complex, custom websites using Webflow and custom code.

  • Plan website architecture using static and dynamic pages, creating complex CMS databases and template pages that can be utilized scalably.

  • Act as the website's development owner and plan your own backlog of work based on requirements from different internal teams.

  • Debug and troubleshoot issues on the website and perform routine maintenance to improve website performance and accessibility.

  • Estimate time required for development, validate tech requirements for implementation and suggest the best low-code solutions.

  • Integrate Webflow sites with 3rd party tools and use custom libraries to improve the experience and development time.

  • Publish and evangelize best practices. If you are passionate about writing, you can publish our design practices and discoveries on our Atomicwork blog.

  • Work closely with design and marketing teams in a fast-paced environment to deliver new pages, templates, and experiences.
