Why we are different (culture)

As a part of Atomicwork, you’ll have the opportunity to shape our company and business from idea to production. Our cultural values also set the bar high, helping us create a better workplace for everyone.

  • Autonomy: We give people the space to grow and enable them to do the best work of their lives.

  • Trust: We believe in our colleagues' good intentions and approach every conversation respectfully.

  • Mastery: We’re dedicated to continuously improving our product, business, and capabilities.

  • Impatience: We make progress with every initiative because the world doesn’t wait for anyone.

  • Curiosity: We like asking questions, learning new things, and helping each other gain new perspectives.

What we’re looking for (qualifications)

We are not big on formal qualifications, and we value hands-on skills. We also enjoy working with people looking to learn new things and have a sense of responsibility toward their work.

  • You have spent at least three years of experience designing modern applications with user-centric design principles.

  • You have worked on B2B SaaS applications and have a good understanding of conversational experiences.

  • You can stay on top of non-functional requirements and can build scalable design systems, responsive layouts and accessible experiences.

  • You have hands-on experience using design tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or Illustrator every day to get work done.

  • You can collaborate with a team full of opinionated people and stay unbiased while presenting your ideas during brainstorming sessions.

  • You should be able to improvise and make quick design decisions while leveraging basic design principles and common sense.

  • You need to come in with a growth mindset and push yourself to get better every day.

  • You are comfortable working with a fully remote team and can have fun working with your peers without meeting them in person.

  • You have taken the time to read and understand our cultural values. Most importantly, you can collaborate with your teammates without acting like a jerk.

What you’ll do (responsibilities)

  • Drive user research programs. You will partner with product managers to do user research interviews with real-world customers and work iteratively to refine the product over time.

  • Collaborate with product and engineering: You will co-own the product roadmap with the rest of the product and engineering teams and influence what gets prioritized for upcoming quarters.

  • Present your work to the team. You will meet with the team and our customers to present user journeys and walkthroughs to help them understand how our product works end-to-end.

  • Make decisions using product analytics. You will leverage all kinds of data at your disposal to make informed decisions about user experience and product capabilities.

  • Publish best practices. If you have a passion for writing, you can publish our design practices and discoveries on our Atomicwork blog.

  • Self-direct your work and co-own the product. You will act as an owner of the product and will have autonomy and responsibility to do what’s right for the customer.
